Being raised in Zanesville, Ohio, Justin knows firsthand the challenges and resilience of the community he loves. With degrees in Religion from American Baptist College, a Master of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center, and a Master of Sacred Theology from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Justin has built a foundation steeped in faith and scholarship.
Professionally, Justin serves as the chaplain and director of Spiritual Life at Ohio Living Westminster-Thurber, providing care and guidance to seniors in their most vulnerable moments. His work has always centered on compassion, whether helping individuals overcome addiction, advocating for racial reconciliation, or providing support for those affected by poverty or illness.
A Proven Leader
Justin’s leadership extends far beyond the church walls. As a member of the Ohio Democratic Central and Executive Committees and the Vice President of Membership for the Muskingum County Young Democrats, he has championed issues like fair redistricting, affordable housing, and access to broadband. He is a staunch advocate for programs that support youth development, job training, and community safety.
Justin’s commitment to equity and inclusion is evident in his fight for fair representation, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Whether serving as a delegate to the Ohio State Democratic Convention or standing in solidarity with vulnerable communities, Justin’s voice echoes his passion for making Muskingum County a better place for everyone.
